January & February 2025

This winter we continue our series of messages based on the Epistle to the Hebrews. This letter is one of the most unique in the New Testament. How so? Unlike most other letters, we do not know who wrote it nor who the original audience was. Furthermore, many believe it was actually a sermon, and not a letter, which means it is the only extant record we have of a full fledged sermon given in the New Testament church. And most important, the portrait of Jesus and his work presented in this book is like no other in the Bible. Why is all this so important? What difference does it make to my faith? Great questions! We hope to explore them and more in our series. Please take the bookmark insert of the outline and place it in your Bible or on your fridge, making reference to the passages as we prepare to reflect on them each Sunday.
